WHAT'RE WE UP TO... AN ECLECTIC HARLEM TOWNHOME

Picture a newly renovated townhouse with 12 foot ceilings, rich navy grasscloth, lacquer trim, oversized brass light fixtures and a contemporary kitchen with thick marble countertops and soft grey cabinetry.

This is the canvas we are working with for our latest project.

Funky fabrics, colorful artwork and bold furniture make this project challenging and fun!

One of the challenges we face with this project is creating an entry that is functional and eye catching. The space is tight so we chose to incorporate a waterfall table. Its functional, contemporary, and narrow enough that it will not obstruct the path from front door to stairway.

The dining room is filled with Phillip Jeffries navy grasscloth and navy lacquer trim, an eclectic chippendale china cabinet and a beautiful sleek wood dining table.

Green leather dining chairs compliment the navy backdrop and add a bold pop of color.

A large contemporary brass light fixture draws the up to the sky high ceilings.

The nook transitioning from dining room to kitchen will soon be walled with Kelly Wearstler's bold black and white Channels wallpaper, a print that will be repeated in the living space.

The living room is a blank slate, soon to be filled with custom built-ins, repurposed vintage finds, contemporary artwork and unexpected pops of color.

Check out what we have in store for this family friendly living room…

A retro swivel chair will be reupholstered with plush navy and blue Thibaut fabric.

Colorful artwork will adorn the back wall above a white lacquer floating console

A soft area rug will ground the room and provide a comfortable area for toddlers and babies to play.

And of course the addition of a Kelly Wearstler fabric completes the space.

Last but not least, a powder pink powder room, featuring a Carerra marble console and brass fixtures will house two of our favorite black and white photographs..
