In what might have been a record-setting number of Facebook likes, I posted a photo of Diane von Furstenberg and me. I met her at the NYC Kravet showroom during a launch party for her new fabric line. And here I thought going to the Tony's would be the highlight of my year!
Diane's first fabric collection for Kravet allow us to bring high fashion right into our own homes. These fabrics exude Diane's fabulous sense for print & color plus her adventurous penchant for mixing unexpected patterns. The collection has a strong foundation in black and white with bold colors mixed in. Berry and orange colors are inspired by sunsets in Rajasthan, blues are inspired by the Caribbean sea, and neutrals are inspired by desert sand and stone. I know- she told me herself : ) To finish the collection, one can find custom designed trimmings to accent the fabrics with an exotic edge. Take a look- you're going to like what you see!
An eclectic mix of geometric, floral, animal, and abstract prints are designed to be mixed and matched
I love the mix of patterns in the same hue:
DVF-designed suites were the foundation fo the new line. I love the sophistication of this room. Gorgeous.
